The iPhone XS Max catches the eye because of the price.

Definitely not for any pocket. At the launch, Apple highlighted the cutting edge datasheet, entitled to the Aion Bionic super processor, storage from 64 GB and dual camera 12 megapixels. We’re talking about one of the most powerful phones on the market – an evolution of the iPhone X introduced to the world in 2017.

The question that remains is whether it pays to pay almost $ 3,000 on a smartphone, albeit a designer. To help you with this questioning, we spent a month with Max.

Before, it is worth remembering that most of the comments are also valid for the iPhone XS. Both phones have practically the same specifications, which boosts similar experiences.

The Apple iPhone XS Max is an iOS smartphone with innovative features that make it an excellent choice for any type of use.

The 6.5-inch screen puts this Apple at the top of its class. The resolution is also high: 2688×1242 pixels. The features offered by the Apple iPhone XS Max are many and top of the line.

Starting with the LTE 4G that allows data transfer and excellent internet browsing, plus Wi-Fi and GPS connectivity present in the handset.

We emphasize the excellent internal memory of 512 GB but without the possibility of expansion.

Full-day battery

The iPhone battery is a point that has already garnered much criticism in the past. This, however, is not the reality of the iPhone XS Max. The phone was removed from the power outlet at 6:40 am and only completely unloaded at 9:30 p.m. – that is, 14 hours and 20 minutes of use.

We used social networking apps (Twitter, Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram) and productivity (Airmail, Evernote and Todoist). The experiment included an hour and 20 minutes of play (Subway Surfers, Fortnite, and Super Mario Run), 20 minutes of connection, 50 minutes of Netflix and an hour and 50 minutes of streaming music in Spotify.

The exceptional result allows the user to forget about the battery throughout the day, while at work or other activities. In moments of more moderate use, the autonomy was between 18 and 24 hours.

Perhaps the main bottleneck is the porter. It takes three and a half hours to fully recharge it, given that the battery pack is 3,174 mAh, up from 2,716 mAh in the traditional iPhone XS.

Dual 12-megapixel camera

The iPhone XS Max kept the dual-camera 12-megapixel resolution of the previous generation. The handset, however, has renovated sensors, according to Apple, and still brings increments provided by the Apple A12 Bionic processor and Smart HDR in order to ensure more photo quality.

In a brief summary, we can say that the Apple cell phone produces excellent, if not fantastic, images. Both the main sensor (telephoto lens with f / 1.8 aperture) and secondary sensor (f / 2.2 telephoto) impress with the vivid colors and the many details. The depth of field also deserves praise.
